This page is the official Privacy Policy and Support page for Capybara Memory Hub, a local-first memory album, pet album, and plant album app.

Capybara Memory Hub lets users save photos, dates, titles, manually entered locations, notes, reminders, album appearance settings, and story-style memory review ranges on their own device.

Capybara Memory Hub is local-first. Most user-created album data, photos, titles, notes, dates, manually entered location text, reminder information, and appearance settings are stored on the user's device. The app does not require account registration or login and does not operate a user-content cloud service in the first release.

What the app provides

  • Memory albums for photos, event dates, titles, manually entered location fields, and notes
  • Pet albums for health, grooming, medication, vaccination, weight, appointment, reminder, title, location, and note records
  • Plant albums for growth logs, care logs, reminder dates, titles, location fields, notes, and photos
  • Album appearance settings, including icons, colors, cover images, and background images
  • Import, export, backup, download, and sharing features controlled by the user

First release limitations

  • No account registration or login
  • No in-app purchases
  • No paid unlocks
  • No subscription features
  • No user-content cloud sync operated by us in the first release

Information processed by the app

  • User-created album content: album names, descriptions, icons, theme colors, cover images, background images, dates, notes, titles, manually entered location fields, pet records, plant records, reminder dates, and reminder lead days.
  • Photos and media: photos selected from the photo library or captured by the user for album covers, memory records, pet records, plant records, backgrounds, additional images, downloads, or sharing.
  • Calendar reminder information: event titles, notes, dates, and reminder lead days may be used when the user chooses to create a calendar reminder.
  • Import, export, backup, and sharing files: when the user chooses these features, the selected files may be handled by the operating system or third-party apps chosen by the user.
  • Advertising data: Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, ad impressions, clicks, interaction data, diagnostics, fraud-prevention information, and consent-related signals, depending on device settings, region, and the user's advertising choices.

Local storage and deletion

Most app data is stored locally on the user's device. Users can delete albums and records inside the app, use Delete All Local Data in Settings, uninstall the app, or clear app data through device settings. Local data may be lost if the user deletes the app or does not keep a backup.

Google AdMob advertising

Capybara Memory Hub may use Google AdMob to show banner ads, rewarded ads, and interstitial / pop-up ads. Google and its partners may process advertising-related data to provide ads, limit ad frequency, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve advertising services.

In the first release, the app is configured to request non-personalized ads where supported. Advertising-related data may still be processed by Google AdMob for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and compliance purposes.

Rewarded ads may be used to grant optional extra daily photo slots, such as 5 additional photo slots after one completed ad. Watching rewarded ads is optional.

Location fields

Location fields in memory, pet, and plant updates are user-entered text fields. The app does not access GPS or precise device location for album records.

Permissions

  • Camera: used only when the user chooses to take a photo for a memory, pet, or plant record, cover image, background image, or additional photo.
  • Photo library / media library: used only when the user chooses to select, save, download, or manage photos.
  • Calendar: used only when the user chooses to create a reminder in the device calendar.
  • Audio playback: used to play built-in background music. The app does not record audio or access the microphone in the first iOS release.
  • Network access: used to load ads and support required app functionality.
  • Document / file access: used only when the user chooses import, export, backup, or restore features.

Capybara Memory Hub 是以本機儲存為主的回憶相簿、寵物相簿與植物相簿 App。多數由使用者建立的相簿資料、照片、標題、備註、日期、手動輸入的地點文字、提醒資訊與外觀設定會儲存在使用者裝置上。第一版不需要帳號登入，也不提供由我們營運的使用者內容雲端同步服務。

App 提供的功能

  • 回憶相簿：照片、事件日期、標題、手動輸入的地點欄位與備註
  • 寵物相簿：健康、美容、用藥、疫苗、體重、看診、提醒、標題、地點與備註紀錄
  • 植物相簿：成長紀錄、照護紀錄、提醒日期、標題、地點、備註與照片
  • 相簿外觀設定：圖示、顏色、封面圖片與背景圖片
  • 由使用者主動操作的匯入、匯出、備份、下載與分享功能

第一版不提供的功能

  • 沒有帳號註冊或登入
  • 沒有 App 內購買

  • 第一版沒有由我們營運的使用者內容雲端同步服務

App 會處理的資料

  • 使用者建立的相簿內容：相簿名稱、描述、圖示、主題顏色、封面圖片、背景圖片、日期、備註、標題、手動輸入的地點欄位、寵物紀錄、植物紀錄、預定提醒日期與提前提醒天數。
  • 照片與媒體：使用者為相簿封面、回憶紀錄、寵物紀錄、植物紀錄、背景、附加照片、下載或分享而從相簿選擇或拍攝的照片。
  • 行事曆提醒資料：當使用者選擇建立行事曆提醒時，App 可能會使用提醒標題、備註、日期與提前提醒天數。
  • 匯入、匯出、備份與分享檔案：當使用者選擇這些功能時，所選檔案可能會交由作業系統或使用者選擇的第三方 App 處理。
  • 廣告相關資料：Google AdMob 可能會依裝置設定、所在地區與使用者廣告選擇處理廣告識別碼、IP 位址、裝置資訊、概略位置、廣告曝光、點擊、互動資料、診斷資料、防止詐欺資訊與同意狀態相關訊號。

本機儲存與刪除

Capybara Memory Hub 的大多數資料會使用標準 App 儲存方式保存在使用者裝置本機。使用者可以在 App 內刪除資料，也可以在設定中使用 Delete All Local Data 刪除本機資料。若使用者刪除 App、清除 App 資料、重置裝置或沒有保留備份，本機資料可能會遺失。

Google AdMob 廣告

Capybara Memory Hub 可能使用 Google AdMob 顯示橫幅廣告、獎勵廣告與插頁 / 跳出式廣告。Google 及其合作夥伴可能會處理廣告相關資料，以提供廣告、限制廣告頻率、衡量廣告成效、防止詐欺或濫用，並改善廣告服務。

第一版 App 會優先以非個人化廣告請求為主；但 Google AdMob 仍可能為了廣告投放、成效衡量、頻率控管、安全性、防止詐欺、診斷與合規目的處理廣告相關資料。

獎勵廣告可能用於提供選擇性的每日額外相片額度，例如觀看一次廣告後增加 5 張相片額度。觀看獎勵廣告為使用者自行選擇。

Location / 地點欄位

Location / 地點欄位是使用者手動輸入的文字。App 不會為了相簿或動態紀錄讀取 GPS 或精確裝置位置。

權限使用說明

  • 相機權限：僅在使用者選擇拍攝回憶、寵物或植物照片、封面圖片、背景圖片或附加照片時使用。
  • 照片 / 媒體庫權限：僅在使用者選擇照片、儲存、下載或管理圖片時使用。
  • 行事曆權限：僅在使用者選擇將提醒加入裝置行事曆時使用。
  • 背景音樂播放：用於播放 App 內建背景音樂。第一版 iOS App 不會錄音，也不會存取麥克風。
  • 網路連線：用於載入廣告及必要的 App 連線功能。
  • 文件 / 檔案存取：僅在使用者選擇匯入、匯出、備份或還原功能時使用。
